Locally Owned and Operated

Locally owned and operated, Specs Appeal is owned by and operated by Stan Kaminski. Stan has been an optician his entire life. His dad started teaching him how to make eyeglasses when he was just 12 years old.
In 1984, Stan and his wife Lorie opened their store, Eye Care Optical in West Bend, WI, another locally owned and operated store.

In 2008, Stan along with his wife Lorie decided to open their dream store; an eyewear boutique that would only carry the most unique and stylish frames available. Lorie came up with the name Specs Appeal, and she hand selects each frame to be sold.

In 2009, Nate, Stan and Lorie's son joined the Specs Appeal team. Nate continues the family tradition of focusing on customer care and service. Not only is Specs Appeal locally owned and operated, but it is a family, multi-generation business as well.

Stan personally makes every pair of glasses. The Specs Appeal lab is equipped with the latest technology, which gives Stan the ability to customize your lens shape, add decorative edges, or make a lens larger or smaller for the proper fit.

It is most important to this family, that you are happy with your glasses, not only in the vision quality, but the "mirror", esthetic quality as well. They strive everyday to make sure each client is happy. It is personal. It is local. It is Specs Appeal.
